What is Community Engagement?

We do everything we can to ensure that the people we support have the opportunity to do the things that help them achieve the life they want.

​

Finding Volunteering Opportunities

​

We offer support to people who would like to volunteer as a means of getting employment experience that can lead to paid work.

 

Referrals to other organizations

​

In cases when folks need additional supports beyond what we offer, we will work with people to connect with other community organizations, do research, help with applications and making connections. 

 

Who is Eligible for Community Engagement?

​

​​

• You are currently out of work, or at risk of leaving work due to mental illness

• You are aged 18 or over

• Need help/support

• Live in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality
